As the flagship product independently developed relying on the Joint Innovation Center, it adopts core self-developed equipment and mass production processes of Aiko, with fully independent intellectual property rights.
ABC silver-free technology not only guarantees power generation output, but also significantly reduces grid breakage issues of crystalline silicon cells. Meanwhile, it eliminates the service life limitation of modules caused by the aging of silver conductive wires.
With no metal grid lines on the front side to block sunlight, it achieves 100% solar irradiance absorption. The product delivers excellent anti-light degradation performance and superior mechanical load capacity, featuring a low temperature coefficient, high temperature resistance, ultra-high efficiency and an aesthetic appearance.
The 6.5GW production line was put into operation at Aiko’s Zhuhai manufacturing base in Q4 2022. Covering a land area of approximately 1,100 mu, the Zhuhai base is designed with a total capacity of 26GW, and will realize a 10GW production capacity for ABC cells and modules by Q3 2023.
ABC technology can be further combined with various photovoltaic technologies in the future, including perovskite, CIGS, CdTe and thin-film solar cells.
